Dhan Dhan Guru Tegh Bahadur ji

Guru Tegh Bahadur ji ki bani –

ਸਾਧੋ ਰਚਨਾ ਰਾਮ ਬਨਾਈ ॥
ਇਕਿ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਇਕ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਅਚਰਜੁ ਲਖਿਓ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Saints, the Creation is made by Ram, such that one dies and the other lives forgetting his mortality; it’s unbelievable!

ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਮੋਹ ਬਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਹਰਿ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਬਿਸਰਾਈ ॥
The living being is trapped in the body’s desires [to survive and reproduce, believing them to be his own] sexual desire, anger and attachment [to false idols], forgetting the [true] Idol of Hari.

ਝੂਠਾ ਤਨੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਿਓ ਜਿਉ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਰੈਨਾਈ ॥੧॥
The body is false [its desires come and go], but the being thinks it is true, like a dream at night.

ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਨਾਸੈ ਜਿਉ ਬਾਦਰ ਕੀ ਛਾਈ ॥
Whatever you see will be destroyed like the passing of the shadow of a cloud.

ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਗੁ ਜਾਨਿਓ ਮਿਥਿਆ ਰਹਿਓ ਰਾਮ ਸਰਨਾਈ ॥੨॥੨॥
Guru ji says recognize the world to be false and remain in the sanctuary of Ram.
